Creating a safe, quality-led, integrated destination - this scheme is a programme of improvements including new lighting schemes, restoration of historic buildings, highway improvements, more CCTV, new signage, re-shaping sand level on the beach, hi-tech tourist information, landscaping and marketing initiatives to encourage economic development.

At the heart of the InteGREAT programme is the feedback from residents, visitors and local businesses. The InteGREAT prgramme has been developed with strong objectives resulting from public consultations and research conducted over several years.
